Your entire body is sore and when you sleep it’s not rejuvenating. You have been held in a dark, dank basement locked in the same position for several days. All in all, she is an important character, and her "stupid decisions" were no more stupid than any human in her situation. She ended up paying a high price at the end of it all, when presented with the darkness of humanity, and that too, is ok. She thought it would work out, and it didn't, and that's ok. Is that so wrong? People constantly deny the reality around them, and she was constantly kept in the dark, and being so close to the charming Gov didn't help, until, as you pointed out it was too late. She wanted to believe that the world could be ok again. She thought people could be reasoned with, and was on the fence about what was happening in Woodbury. Dale's irrational emotional whining in Season 1. She really wanted to work within the confines of solving problems without violence, which actually makes much more sense in Season 3 with the two HUMAN camps vs. With that said, I think she was a female version of Dale for season 3, with the amount of naiveté she displayed. Well, she should not be compared to her comic version, that's asking for disappointment. ![]()
